Weird numbers regarding activation

Hi there.........

The keyfinder is telling me I have 1539561945 days Grace period left!
(This number also on the Win xP activation screen)

When I boot up it says 6 days remaining..........

Anybody know what it means?

Thanks

Re: Weird numbers regarding activation

hmm I'm not sure why it is showing these numbers,. Need to check that out.

Can you check if your system is activated? Try to activate and see what it shows?

Re: Weird numbers regarding activation

After attempting to change the keys it's now saying 30 days left (winkeyfinder)

oddly enough I can no longer pull up the activation screen - by clicking on it or from the command line - strange

when booting I don't get any remaining days message at all - somehow it has reset for another 30 days

the problem started from installing Win XP on a laptop (IBM) that formerly had a branded OEM XP on it. I've tried literally hundreds of keys.... maybe it's hard coded in the BIOS or something?

Re: Weird numbers regarding activation

Win Keyfinder does nothing but just alters a value in the registry so that the registration screen comes up, how ever I don't understand "100s of keys" did you try them as ur own genuine keys or were they illegal? remember using pirated keys is not only illegal but also hampers your system security, Buy a Genuine Product key and change it using Winkeyfinder
