WinKeyFinder Will NOT RUN!!

Just thought that I would mention that even in "Safe" Mode I am unable to use Winkeyfinder. I get an Unexpected error immediately. Nothing has been installed on this PC other than MS Security updates. It is running Norton Antivirus Corp Edition, but same code and virus definition has no problem on machines with existing copies of Winkeyfinder. Any ideas? Thanks!

Imran is re looking into the code, to check if somthing is missed while it was under test it was tested only for short duration of time.
but every where it ran, ran smoothly.,.
hang on for couple of days he will get you a cleaned version he promises to remove all WSH scripts. except in few areas, that needs to be there.

I had the same problem . Downloaded and got error message right away.

As you all know winkeyfinder needs some basic VB run time files which need to be present in your system.
This was / Is the biggest draw back of vb. Hence re-coding it in C# would solve this problem, so far only 20-25% code migration has been done.
I will be working on it slowly as and when I find time for it

I have found Lite version which allows to change KEY in WinXP it is: WinKeyLite.exe

Much easier than WinKeyFinder and what is the most important - it's working.

Yes WinkeyLite was mainly introduced, because many systems did not have the capability to run WMI scripts.

I also get the 'unexpected error' when trying to run Winkey 1.72.
I have tried to download the stable version above but the short cut is not live?
