| Almost understand how to use this..... Hello, I had a question to ask someone who might be able to clearly explain the program to me. The read me file seems to assume I have a working knowledge of performing activation backups but in fact this is a new thing for me. O.K. Is this the proper sequence to do these steps? 1. Backup current activation file 2. Change Volume Serial Number in order to reflect the number stored in saved activation file 3.Format my drive 4. Reinstall Windows 5. Restore Activation File to activate Windows Or is the sequence like this? 1. Backup current activation file 2. Format my drive 3. Reinstall Windows 4. Restore Activation File to activate Windows 5. Change Volume Serial Number in order to reflect the number stored in saved activation file Do I have this right in anyone of the above sequence steps. I want to make sure I do this right so I do not have to call Microsoft again. That is annoying. Help. Also, I have Windows XP SP2 OEM. Does this program support OEM versions of Windows XP SP2? I hope it does for the sake of bypassing standard Windows activation procedures. |
