will fsx gold work on windows xp?

i have decided to get fsx gold instead of fsx deluxe..... however they said that fsx gold uses vista..... can i use fsx gold on windows xp????? thx

Yes, it is compatible with WIndows XP as well. It just won't use some of the advanced particle effects that DirectX 10 uses but will otherwise run fine.
