| take ownership of the file and then grant your username full control If your are replacing or changing system files like (uxtheme.dll or imageres.dll) in Windows Vista then first you have to take ownership of the file and then grant your username full control of the file. ![]() Just add this file to your redistry and right click on the file you want to own and click on "Take Ownership". Download OWN.zip from Attached file. and to Remove Features Download rm_own.zip from Attached files and run it. Follow these steps to do this manually: Start button > All Programs > Accessories > Right-click on Command Prompt > Select Run as administrator > Click Continue.
