Hello,

I'm running xp sp2. I got an original windows xp sp2 cd with a valid product key and am trying to change my product key but keep getting the above message. I tried different products including all versions of keyfinder but none has worked. I keep getting the same message every time I enter the valid key. The new key is valid and it is for my version of windows. Do I have to reinstall windows to solve this problem??

thanks

Wrong/Invalid/Banned Product Key

If not then do one thing, Restart your computer and then the first thing you do is start winkeyfinder, now try changing the product key still it does not work there might be a file missing in your system registry, Send me one email I will give you completly instructions what has gone wrong and how to correct that error!
Regards! Imran

Wrong/Invalid/Banned Product Key

I have this same problem. I am trying to use WinKeyFinder 1.66 to change the Windows key to a key that I know is good. The computer does already have SP2. I get the following error upon trying to change: "Wrong/Invalid/Banned Product Key".

I have searched the forums and see that other uses have had this problem. But I could not find the resolution anywhere. Can anyone help, please?

Yes why not!
Why dont you try using WinKeyFinder 1.70 RC 1?
Hope using this latest version [beta bound to have errors] might solve your problem!
Wait for the author mr to arrive here and post a solution for your problem, or upgrade the way key is changed..
He is working on a new product and will be free for winkeyfinder soon!
Regards!
