I tweaked keychang Algo so that it will work on XP2, Haven't tested it on other systems due to lack of availability of the system! Please Write your problem in a step by step manner with each problem and what was the expected result! Thanks! I will be waiting for your reply.. |

| no problem sir,but as i am german i trie it in my best english i can do... first of all i changed the key to another one with PID 64 (not 641),same as (639 does anyway), i hoped changing the volume serial (with your tool given within the package) would fix the symptom, that on every reboot the old windows key from the installation is restored, this is anyway none real key its a spoof one i made with 4in1 but this one has PID 641 range if you want mor information please detailed info from what... im not sure if this so far help you |

| Alrite, Now you mean to say that You changed Volume serial which was not required! You changed Volume Serial number to what? number? Please donot change it toa number of your own guess Please! What I mentioned was to Save your current Activated Volume Serial number so that when you do a format and install, you just need to change your new volume serial number with the old/saved volume serial number! Ok now for Changing product key? It is really strange to me that Even after changing a key, which was accepted by Windows XP, It reverses to an older key! I cannot understand how! Let me explain you why! I cannot understand this! When WinKeyFinder Changes a key to a new Product key, It makes modification to your Registry and removes your old key [ This is must other wise you cannot Change the key], after this there is no way that this reversal can take place any way! I will surely look into your problem, since this is not related ro winkeyfinder problem I think it is based on your system! What I suggest is take a backup of your data format your Installed drive, reinstall windows and then try! this is just for the test to make sure that if there is anything wrong with your system you can trace that out! I will let you know the other options.. Soon! Maybe you can send me one email! I will reply to that in detail! imranbaigm[AT]yahoo.com |

| i see.... its not a number of my own guess,i have a keygenerator,a working one, this generator is able to make a usefull number for installation even ist possible to activate, but... my problem is,i have an automated installation, within an old (not working) serial key, wich is automatic givin within the installation,an i wont reinstall my whole system yet,(not before release of vista *smile*) so i only wanted to change the old one to the new working one, maybe its a sympthom of the automatc setup? ive done this with nlite |
