WinKey Finder BETA 1.7 - unknown error on Lenovo 3000 with XP Home SP 2
Hi,

I can not run Win KeyFinder 1.7 beta on Lenovo 3000 with XP Home SP 2. This is very clean installation, just Windows instalation with some basic tools (Adobe Reader, Anti-virus etc). No MS Office and simillar big apps...

When starting KeyFinder, dialog box pop-ups with message "Uknown error". This is before showing main window...

Windows XP Home is registered just to first name, company filed is empty...

Have one Dell OptiPlex 280 with XP SP 2 Pro and no problems there...

This error comes due to some missing files, After this update I will be recoding the entire winkeyfinder in some other language then vb6 which needs run time files to run the basic file.

Please search the forums you will find the answer thanks.

also getting error on windows xp sp2. "unexpected error".
any solution?

Yes There is a 1.72 and 1.73 Beta that is available.
