| WinkeyFinder 1.72 Final Version! is Released Dear Winkeyfinder users, Im happy to annuonce Winkeyfinder being taken out of beta and released as final version which is consider as stable. As of now I consider this version as stable. The following are change logs, in this update. 1: Removed Error Unexpected error. 2: Passing of values between function's is been recoded completly. 3: Redfined colors and fonts. 4: Contains a Readme file, which i will write shortly. 5: Beta XP/SP2 Test feature which will enhance and release. Apart from this there are small code changes which does not qualify to be announced here. I'm really satisfied with this version being so far not reported to be containing any known bugs. Now I have removed wmi script, but could not avoide in few parts of the program, but I have eleminated it to an extent so that the program works well. I dont think I have to mention its other features but just for other new people. What is WinkeyFinder? Win keyfinder retrieves your windows Xp, win 2000, windows me, 98, 2003 and .NET Product keys from the registry and display it for you. Usually the keys are encoded and stored in the registry it decodes it and also allows You to change Windows XP, 2003, and .Net Product Keys just press of a button. It is simple and easy to use. Here are some key features of "WinKeyFinder": · View/change XP Key · View/Change MS office Key · View Win98 Key · view Win2000 Key · View .Net Key · View Win2003 Key · Back up WinXP Activation · Save Your Product Key By Encrypting It · Generate Unique Passwords By Entering your Combination of KeyCode · Now Support MS office 2000 Key Viewing and Key changing but only if MS office Service Pack 2 has been installed.

| Re: WinkeyFinder 1.72 Final Version! is Released Same here, Sorry to bring the bad news, it's just I really like the program and I think you've done a great job. Anyway, these are the symptoms, maybe you'll be able to tell what's that: Just after starting the program a first thing that pops up is a small error msg box stating "Unexpected error". Nothing else. After that, program exits (without even showing the interface). Funny enough it happens on a desktop with XP Pro SP2 (just installed). I also tested on another desktop with XP SP2 and it runs fine there (this one has been here a while Initially I thought, maybe some missing import function but I've checked and it seems it's only linked to MSVBVM60.dll. Compared the lib on both systems and they are the same (v 6.00.9690, same size, etc). Don't know what else to check. If you have any suggestions let me know. I'll gladly provide any information you would need. Thanks again for the great prog. |

| Re: WinkeyFinder 1.72 Final Version! is Released Thanks for your information. I will look into this tomorrow early morning and relesae a patch hopefully this will solve the problem,.. I have almost removed the wsh except from ms office part. for searching office installations. In future i will try to make sure that wsh i.e windows intrusion management system WMI is not at all used, since some anti virus block it from running. Thanks, I will see whats happening again in APP load part.

| Re: WinkeyFinder 1.72 Final Version! is Released Imran, if you don't mind me asking, what sort of problems have you had with WMI? It's just I'm starting to write a small app now and using WMI is one of my options. Just wanted to know if there's anything I should be aware of. Thanks!! |
